About Us
I sometimes get asked....why do you do what you do?
I take in emaciated walking skeletons and bring them back to life....I take in unhandled horses and work with them until they can be handled and find a new home....I take in horses that have medical needs and injuries, both old and young.....I take in the unwanted horse or the horse that a person can no longer afford or has time for.....
So....I ask you this???
Have you ever seen a horse that has given up all hope???
Seen their eyes with no light left??? Have you ever seen a horse that was depressed and wouldn't eat???
A horse that won't let you touch them because they are afraid of your hand???
I have...
But I've also seen a horse go from being scared of everything to being the most loving animal on Earth...
I've seen the light return...
I've seen the hope brighten their eyes and shine in their personalities...
I've seen them bloom with tender loving care...
I've seen them trust...
And that moment....that brief moment in time....that....that is all worth it 💓 that glimpse of possibility of what their future could hold simply because I cared....because I tried and didn't give up on them. This is why I do what I do ❤
